Every component has been hand selected by industry leading chemical engineers
The first step was selecting the TPU polymer blend. We utilise world class raw materials from BASF
Our R&D division then selected additives including UV stabilisers, adhesion promotors and slip agents to improve the films self healing capabilities.
The 'Prism Blend' is then mixed together using specialised equipment before being heated and extruded through a die to form a continuos film by our manufacturing partner in asia.
After countless prototypes we then decided to proceed with a 180 microns thick film
After extrusion the film undergoes a coating process including the acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive and 'top clear coat' which contains industry leading proprietary DiamondTech® technology
We tackle the challenges faced by installers.
Traditional windscreen protection films (WPF) are made from polyester which has to be heat shrunk, this type of technology is very dated and cannot provide any self healing, it is also very difficult to remove and offers very low self cleaning fuctionality. PRISM offers all the traits found in paint protection film but for your windscreen!. Its optically clear, extremely hydrophobic, easy to install and maintain. A dream product for the market.
